Job

Job 8:7                     Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.

Job 33:24-26              I have found a ransom;  His flesh shall  be young like a child’s, He shall return to the days of his youth.  He shall pray to God and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness.

Job 42:10                  And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Psalms

Ps 1:1-3                    Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and His law he meditates day and night; He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.

Ps 18:1-3                   I will love you O Lord, my strength;  The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;  My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;  My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised;  So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Ps 23:1-4                   The Lord is my shepherd.  I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters.  He restores my soul.  He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for  You are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Ps 30:5                     His favor is for life. Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Ps 32:7                     You are my hiding place;  You shall preserve me from trouble;  You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.

Ps 34:7                     The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

Ps 34:18                   The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Ps 37:3-4                  Trust in the Lord, and do good;  Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.  Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Ps 37:23-24                 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And he delights in His way.  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Ps 63                       O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for you; My flesh longs for you.

Ps 93:13-14               Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age. They shall be fresh and flourishing.

Ps 102:18                  This will be written for a generation to come that a people yet to be created will praise the Lord.

Ps 103                       Bless the LORD, O my soul . . . who heals all our diseases

Ps 105:37                  He also brought them out [of Egypt] with silver and gold and there were none feeble among them.

Ps 107:20                  He sent His word and healed them. And delivered them from their destruction.

Ps 118:24                  This is the day which the Lord has made, we will be glad and rejoice in it.

Ps 119:105                 Your word is a light to my feet and a lamp to my path.

Ps 133:1                    Behold how good and how pleasant it is for the brethren to dwell together in unity.

Proverbs

Prov 5:18-19              Let your fountain be blessed and rejoice in the wife of your youth as a loving deer and a graceful doe.  Let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and always be enraptured with her love.

Prov 16:7                  When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Prov 16:9                  A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

Prov 17:22                 A merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.

Prov 18:10                 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Prov 18:14                 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?

Prov 20:1                   Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.

Prov 20:7                   The righteous man walks in integrity. His children are blessed after him.

Prov 20:27                 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all inner depths of the heart.

Prov 27:17                 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Prov 29:25                 The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord will be safe.
